Crankies
Avoid getting cranky about scrapes with a pair of Crankies crank arm boots. These are carefully designed to fit perfectly onto the crank arm shape, and will keep the tips of your cranks from becoming gnarly after playing in rock gardens.
Available for SRAM X01 DH and Truvativ Descendant 6k and 7k cranksets.
For X01 DH cranks - Crankies offer a thicker tip than standard boots for increased resistance to impacts and prolonged life. Additionally, they offer extra grip on some key surfaces: along the outward face and on top of the crank arm itself, for times when your shoe lands either on top of the crank or is squeezed agaisnt the crank arm.
For Truvativ Descendant 6k/7k cranks - although aluminum cranks aren’t as susceptible to failure as carbon ones due to rock strikes, scratching off the black paint or gouging the crank arm ends is still less than ideal and can easily be avoided by equipping Crankies.
Printed in 95-98A thermoplastic polyurethane which is highly durable and shock-absorbing.
