BOQS Mudguard - Older RockShox Forks
The advanced BOQS mudguard system adapted for older RockShox forks without bolt mount holes in the fork arch uses four included zip-ties to attach the BOQS mount. However, the fender, as with all BOQS system mudguards, attaches and detaches from the mount without tools using the new V3 connection system.
BOLT-ON, QUICK SWAP.
Separating the mounting interface and fender into two components gives the BOQS system these distinct advantages over all other mudguards:
1. Once the mount is bolted onto the fork arch, the fender can be detached in seconds by hand without any tools, extra zip ties, or hardware.
2. In case of damage, separately available fenders and mounts can be purchased to replace that component without having to replace the entire mudguard, unlike other bolt-on mudguards.
Each BOQS component is FDM manufactured with materials and processes that are optimal for their function: the mount is made of carbon-filled Nylon which is ideal for stiffness and strength, whereas the fender features a thin layer of PETG sandwiched between outer layers of TPU, creating just enough flexibility to attach and detach while remaining stiff and highly durable when curved into position.
One BOQS mount, one black BOQS fender, and four zip-ties are included.
